Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 17 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
This is an incredibly scenic trail that travels by the West Fork Trinity River and provides shade along the way, making for a great choice to escape the summer heat. The trail is mostly flat, and you may see alligators on the banks of the river. The trail can become muddy during wet conditions and waterproof shoes are recommended.
